The Saint At Large, the New York-based
organization behind the notorious
fetish-oriented Black Party, swaggers
back to The Roseland Ballroom to present
the second annual BPX: The Black Party
Expo, benefiting The LGBT Center. Due to
the success of last year’s debut, the
expo has been expanded to two days and
will take place on March 18 and 19.
Boasting “Hardcore Branding,” and
billing itself as "Behind The Scenes At
The World's Sexiest Party," The Black
Party Expo pulls back the leather
curtain for a peek into the exclusive
netherworld that is the biggest and most
infamous gay dance party in the world.
Frisky, fun and in-your-face BPX: The
Black Party Expo is also one of the few
erotic shopping experiences on the East
Coast where adult entertainment and
merchandise vendors are able to showcase
in a manner appropriate to their brands.
Visitors not already slack-jawed at such
sights as 3-D porn, rubber fire hydrants
and powertools more suited to daddy’s
dungeon than father’s garage, need only
look up to take in The Black Party’s
famously architectural décor, erected in
anticipation of the night’s big event,
Rites XXXII: The Black Party.
Attendees are free to drink, ogle, and
gawk as they meet favorite adult film
stars, power-shop for the very best in
leather and fetish fashions, XXX movies,
books, toys, erotic art and jewelry and
meet fellow curiosity seekers who have
heard of, but never ventured into the
mystique behind The Black Party.
Entertainment throughout the two days
will feature eye-popping fashion shows,
hot product demos, live musical
performances and a preview of The Black
Party’s infamous “strange live acts.”
"What a sexy Expo! BPX 2010 came out the
gate full force and was such a huge
success that we immediately started
confirming new sponsors and exhibitors
for 2011, the interest and response has
been overwhelming,” said thrilled BPX
Director, Matt Humphrey, about the 2010
debut event.
“We had a very successful showing at the
first ever Black Party Expo this
weekend,” agreed Boy Butter’s Eyal
Feldman. “We made lots of sales, lots of
new customers and the party afterwards
was off the hook.”
