DJ
Peter Rauhofer’s
WORK! party is dropping the gore on this Halloween’s dancefloor.
On Friday, October 30, the Grammy Award-winning DJ producer
presents “Blood on the Dancefloor” at Manhattan’s massive
Roseland Ballroom. The party is set to be one of the largest
Halloween events New York City has ever experienced with three
of the world’s leading DJs –
Paulo,
Offer Nissim, and
Peter Rauhofer -
battling it out for turntable supremacy. It won’t be a friendly
DJ battle;
Rauhofer predicts
a DJ bloodbath.
“Halloween is historically one of the biggest party nights in
New York City,” said
Rauhofer from the
Star 69 offices
in Manhattan at this morning’s announcement. “It is the perfect
opportunity to take all the DJ drama of the past few months to
the extreme and let the deejays do some damage where it counts:
on the dance floor. We will each throw down our scariest beats
and see who is left standing at the end of the night.”
“Blood on the Dancefloor” will be the first time
Peter Rauhofer
and Tel Aviv’s
Offer Nissim have
shared a dancefloor since their public feud in July.
DJ
Paulo will start
the evening with a tribal-influenced Halloween themed set.
Peter Rauhofer
will then serve twisted new gems and classic Halloween anthems
including his brand new remix of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi".
Offer Nissim
follows with his own special Halloween set, full of his unique
brand of flair and surprises.
Rauhofer’s
experience may give him the advantage at “Blood on the
Dancefloor”. Having headlined several of New York City’s top
Halloween extravaganzas through the year’s including the
infamous Roxy Halloween events and parties at Club Spirit and
Club Stereo, he knows the beats New Yorkers want to hear.
Additionally, “Blood on the Dancefloor” comes on the
heels of his hugely successful WORK! “We Can” NYC Pride party;
an event that packed over 5,000 men into Roseland this past
June.
“The WORK! parties have grown in notoriety because they stay
true to the New York Underground,” explains
Rauhofer. “We
unite the most beautiful men of every race and flavor on one
dancefloor for an all night, no holds barred celebration.”
The parties also encourage clubgoers to add their own creativity
to the night. Part of the magic at “Blood on the Dancefloor”
will be the extravagant and provocative costumes worn by
revelers.
“New York City and Halloween were made for each other,”
concludes
Peter Rauhofer.
“Halloween is the darkest holiday of the year and NYC comes to
life in the dark. The only thing that has been missing in years
past is the blood and gore. This year, we have it covered.”
