As anyone who’s ever frequented Miami Beach knows, there are as many stars sparkling on the sandbar as there are glittering in the sky.  And what’s a star on Miami Beach without a photographer to capture that magic for time eternal?

For the past six years, Dale Stine has photographed nearly everybody who’s anybody, from denizens of the night to Brickell socialites—along with every deejay, dq, and hottie in between.  As the official photog for the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, the man covers the waterfront—and on Wednesday, February 13th, a retrospective of Stine’s work flashed over the walls of Halo on Michigan, creating a mosaic of some of Miami Beach’s most famous, most gorgeous, and most notorious—testament again to the ongoing parade that is life on Miami Beach.

Meanwhile, over at the Colony Theater, Miami ARTzine photographer Henry Perez had his own lobby retrospective called A Sweet Romance, a series of Miami couples canoodling through the night—further proof that whenever there’s a camera around, everyone’s a star.
